Rosenblatt has been working as an independent filmmaker since 1980. His films have been shown worldwide, in film festivals, museum retrospectives, and on television, and have garnered many awards. His most recent movie, WHEN WE WERE BULLIES (2021), was nominated for an Academy Award.
