Latin American Premieres for Filmmakers Distributed by GME April 11-22 at Buenos Aires International Festival of Independent Cinema (BAFICI)

The well-regarded Buenos Aires International Festival of Independent Cinema (BAFICI) runs from April 11 - 22, and will feature films by Philippe Garrel and James Benning that are distributed in DVD editions by GME exclusively to educational institutions.  The new digital restoration of Benning’s 11 X 14 (1977) will be screened, as well as a retrospective of Garrel’s films that includes MARIE POUR MÉMOIRE (1967), LES HAUTES SOLITUDES (1974), LE LIT DE LA VIERGE (1969), LE RÉVÉLATEUR (1968), LES INFANTS DÉSACORDÉS (1964), and ACTUA 1(1968).
