Individual props (machines as well as hand-held items) were utilized in scores of science fiction movies and television show including FANTASTIC JOURNEY (1978), ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK (1981), TOTAL RECALL (1990), BATMAN RETURNS (1992), INDPENDENCE DAY (1996), X-MEN (2000), DIE HARD 4 (2007), MEN IN BLACK 3 (2011), and THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN (2012), as well as the STAR TREK franchise.
