The above photo of experimental filmmaker Warren Sonbert was licensed to film scholar John Powers for an aritcle in the book “Sixteen at 100: Histories of a Radical Film Format,” Gregory A. Waller and Haidee Wasson, eds. (Oxford University Press, 2023).

The Estate of Warren Sonbert has previously named GME as the custodian of the legacy of experimental filmmaker Warren Sonbert (1947-1995). In addition to distributing this important filmmakers entire body of work, GME also licenses clips from his films for film and television projects (eg, Todd Haynes’ THE VELVET UNDERGROUND).
