KENNETH B. CLARK PORTRAIT BY RAIMONDO BOREA LICENSED FOR FILM ON ISAAC WOODARD

Raimondo Borea’s iconic photograph of educator Kenneth B. Clark, an educator and activist who fought against segregation, was included in the 2021 PBS American Experience documentary THE BLINDING OF ISAAC WOODARD directed by Jamilia Ephron, produced by Ark Media. The film explores the savage event that ultimately set the stage for the Supreme Court’s landmark 1954 Brown v. Board of Education decision, which finally outlawed segregation in public schools and jump-started the modern civil rights movement.
